Introduction
Welcome to CloudHaus. These Terms govern purchases made through CloudHaus. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that apply under South African law.
Orders, Quotations & Payments
Quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
Orders are confirmed once accepted by CloudHaus and payment has been confirmed.
Standard website orders are confirmed through the approved checkout payment process. Custom, trade and project quotations may have separate payment terms, stated in the applicable quotation.
Cheques are not accepted.
Production & Lead Times
Furniture is generally made to order.
Estimated delivery begins after payment is confirmed. Estimated lead times are:
- 1–2 pieces: approximately 3–5 weeks
- 3–5 pieces: approximately 4–6 weeks
- 6–8 pieces: approximately 6–8 weeks
- 9 or more pieces: approximately 8–10 weeks
- Custom, commercial or bespoke projects: confirmed according to project scope
Quality-control requirements or unforeseen manufacturing circumstances may reasonably extend estimated lead times. Where this occurs, CloudHaus will keep the customer informed.
Materials & Natural Variations
Natural timber, stone, leather and fabrics may vary in colour, grain, veining, texture and dye lot.
Images displayed on the website, in digital materials or in the showroom are representative. Colours and textures may appear differently depending on lighting, screens, browsers and the natural character of the material.
Natural variation is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Delivery
Current delivery options, pricing and eligibility are published on the CloudHaus Delivery Information page and may be updated from time to time.
Customers are responsible for ensuring furniture can safely pass through entrances, passages, stairways, lifts and other access points leading to the intended room.
Optional installation, wall mounting, specialist assembly and delivery insurance may be quoted separately where applicable.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Most CloudHaus furniture is manufactured to order.
Changes may not be possible once production has commenced.
Customers should review all products, dimensions, finishes, fabrics, quantities and order details carefully before confirming an order.
Product Care
Customers are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of their furniture.
Care guidance is available from CloudHaus and may accompany selected products.
Failure to follow suitable care and maintenance guidance may affect the condition and longevity of the product.
Product Concerns
Customers should inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
CloudHaus should be notified promptly if an item appears damaged, incorrect or has a manufacturing concern.
Product concerns will be assessed in accordance with applicable South African law and the relevant CloudHaus policies in effect at the time.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CloudHaus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of its products.
Any limitation of liability in these Terms remains subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
Intellectual Property
All CloudHaus designs, drawings, photography, branding, written materials, website content and related creative work remain the intellectual property of CloudHaus unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Amendments
CloudHaus may update these Terms from time to time.
The version published on the website at the time of purchase will apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
